Our Vision
We envision a Mississippi where transgender and gender-diverse people can live safely, express themselves freely, and access the support they need to thrive. Awakening Love MS brings LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies together through affirming resources, education, wellness, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Community voices guide our work as we continue leading with love.
Our Mission
Awakening Love MS empowers LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies through affirming resources, community support, education, and pathways to wellness. We advocate for transgender and gender-diverse communities, promote harm reduction and emotional wellness, and expand access to workforce development. Our Drop-In Center offers a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where people can connect, build life skills, and find support for everyday needs.
